  • Judge for three terms for the Ministry of Tourism on the evaluation of hospitality industry.
  • Certified Instructor of the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute.
  • First Malaysian recipient of the Institute’s Lamp of Knowledge Award for Outstanding Hospitality Education- International in June 2007.
  • Sits on the Board of Directors for Human Resource Development Corporation of Malaysia (PSMB).
  • Member of the DPCCE Industry Advisory Council under the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.
  • Member of the Tourism Panel for Malaysian Productivity Centre (MPC), Star Rating Panel of Ministry of Tourism and Panel member of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
  • Member of the Global Advisory Committee, for the development of international food and beverage competency standards appointed by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council. 
  • A member of the Industry Advisory Body of Inti International Colleges and Universities in Malaysia and The Blue Mountain School of Hospitality Management, Australia
  • Recently appointed to the Tourism Committee of the Malaysia- Singapore Business Council.
  • Has been the CEO of Malaysian Association Hotels for 7 years.
